I've been running a few times a week, but with the weather being almost 90 degrees and the 70 plus pounds of children and stroller it's a little rough (Excuses, excuses. I know).
But I'm back at it.
All day yesterday I sat at the window waiting for the Fed-Ex guy.
Then I got it.
Aw yeahhhh.
Here's the promo:
25 minutes a day and 5 days a week. That's what hooked me. I LOVED Insanity. But I hated how long it took. By the second month the workouts were 45-60 minutes. I don't really have time for that with the kiddos and I stopped wasting nap time on working out. Nap time is for E! network and baking copious amounts of bread.
I spent the better half of last night up thinking about it. Like an upcoming high schooler anxious for their first day. But instead of wondering if there will be as much dancing on tables in the cafeteria like in High School Musical, I spent hours wondering if I'd be as drenched in sweat as I was in Insanity. And strangely, hoping I am (drenched in sweat, not dancing on tables.).
I know, I'm a super attractive human being.
So I'm going to keep track like I did last time. I'll blog and keep you guys updated on my progress. The program is 10 weeks long and my goal is to lose between 10-15 pounds and have more defined muscle tone in my arms and to lose the rest of my post-baby belly.
I'll also be doing Shakeology for this first month. Which supposedly helps with weight loss and increases your energy levels. If I like it, I may keep it up.
I'm not a beachbody coach, so every review on this is as honest as it gets.
I just did my first workout.
I was not disappointed.
I was, however, disgustingly sweaty.
Taking measurements today, hopefully the next time I check in about it I'm down a few pounds!
Oh, and on a completely unrelated note, Rae ate food yesterday.
Not impressed.
